Down&Out Panel Blinds Limited Lifetime Warranty

1.  WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS

1.1. The Limited Lifetime Warranty covers functional defects in the powder coated aluminum frame and the hinges connecting each panel together on any Down&Out Panel Blind. 

1.2.  The Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or incidental damage.

1.3.  The Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover the fabric panels, the roof struts, the carrying bag, the fabric snaps, or any part of the window covers. Each of these pieces is individually replaceable and can be purchased by contacting customer support.  (see below for contact information)

1.4.  This Limited Lifetime Warranty covers replacement for factory defects and does not constitute a refund.

1.5.  This Limited Lifetime Warranty supersedes all other warranties, whether expressed or implied by GSM Outdoors.

2.  THE PERIOD OF COVERAGE

2.1.  This Limited Lifetime Warranty is effective after receipt of your warranty registration information within 90 days of purchase.

2.2.  To register your Down&Out Panel Blind(s) for the Limited Lifetime Warranty please detach and return the completed the warranty information section of the product documentation within 90 days of purchasing your blind(s).

3.  HOW THE CUSTOMER CAN GET SERVICE

3.1.  Please contact us via email at  [email protected] or via phone at 877-269-8490 for warranty service or replacement part needs.

3.2.  Please be prepared to describe the defect in detail and send pictures as needed.  If the description and pictures are consistent with a defect in materials and workmanship the parts will be replaced under the terms of section 4 below.

4.  WHAT GSM OUTDOORS WILL DO TO ADDRESS WARRANTY ISSUES

4.1.  Each warranty claim will be handled on an individual basis after receiving pictures of the defect. 

4.2.  Whenever possible, individual parts/pieces will be sent to fix or replace a defective part/piece. Most issues can be addressed without replacing the entire frame. 

4.3.  Customer is responsible for shipping costs associated with returning the defective frame, frame panel(s), and/or hinges to GSM Outdoors. Before returning a frame or frame panel(s) for warranty replacement your Cordura camo panels and window covers will need to be removed and kept.  The customer will be responsible for attaching these original parts to the warranty replacement frame panel(s)

4.4.  Once the defective frame is received, inspected and approved for replacement, GSM Outdoors will cover shipping costs for the replacement parts to be delivered to the customer within the 48 contiguous states.  Shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or an international address will require customer to pay for shipping over and above the customary shipping charges.
